More About Holly

Hi, I'm Holly Graff, LM, CPM, your Evidence Based Birth® Instructor.
I'm a Certified Professional Midwife licensed in NJ with 10 years of birth experience. I'm also an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant)
and a NJ Certified Biology Teacher with over 12 years in the classroom. I'm a passionate lifelong learner, and I love supporting others in their learning process! I firmly believe that information and preparation are the key to birthing powerfully, confidently, and joyfully. I'm based in Montclair, NJ, and I offer virtual classes for parents everywhere. And because nothing should stand in the way of your empowered birth, I reserve scholarship spots in every session. Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class includes:

• Mentorship from Holly Graff, an experienced midwife, doula, and lactation consultant. 
• Six live online classes with your EBB Instructor and classmates to ask all your questions, prepare for the labor process, and practice your labor skills.
• Five weeks of online videos for you and your partner(s) to watch together (with closed captions in English and Spanish!)
• In-depth, spiral-bound workbook in physical or digital format (your choice!)
• BONUS: Breastfeeding/chestfeeding and newborn care videos

Whether I’m speaking as a midwife, a teacher, or a parent, my philosophy is always the same: You can do amazing things when you are supported, respected, trusted, and informed. You are the expert on your own mind and body. Nobody gets to tell you who you are. Or what to think. Or how to birth. The most fundamental of all human rights is the right to be YOU. 

I am committed to providing safe, respectful, inclusive care for clients of all cultural  backgrounds, identities, and family structures. I believe in the power of relationships, and I value the time I spend with you, getting to know you and your family as we build confidence and trust. Whether as your doula/monitrice, lactation counselor, or childbirth educator I am your partner on this journey, providing the support you need to make well-informed decisions that align with your personal values. I have complete trust in you, your body, and your abilities.

Refund Policy:
Your payment reserves a spot in the class and is refundable only due to special circumstances at Holly's discretion. 

Note: As an active birth worker, there is a small chance that I will be required to reschedule a live class session if I am called away to a birth. In that case, I will give as much notice as possible and ask for your kind cooperation.
